Following the popular success of last year’s workshop with Richard Cooke, this is an opportunity for everyone, regardless of experience, to come and receive some tips about vocal technique and sing some of the great choruses from Elijah. We will begin with vocal exercises concentrating on producing our best sound and then apply it to Mendelssohn’s music as the day progresses. This is a chance for those who were mistakenly given the impression in years past that they ‘couldn’t sing’ to discover that they can, and for those who sing regularly and who would like another good sing to come and do just that. A chance also to dust down some vocal cobwebs!
