Runners who sign up to races will be raising vital funds for the Heart of Kent Hospice, which provides free palliative care to people with terminal illnesses in and around Maidstone in Kent.

The 2025 running events take place on Sunday 2 March 2025. Choose from 10k, 5k and family fun run.

Runners depart from Cornwallis Academy and will set off in stages. Registration is at 9am and there is a 10-minute warm-up session from 9.20am for the 10K and at 9.50am for the 5K. This is a chip-timed race.

The popular 1K Family Fun Run is perfect for anyone, including younger runners, who are looking to complete a shorter distance.

All runners will receive a special finisher medal.

The 10k route is a wonderful run and adult entry is £30 but pledge to raise £100 or more in sponsorship for the Hospice entry is £15 and you will receive a Maidstone Road Run Running Vest.

The 5K run is £20 without sponsorship and £10 with sponsorship, the Family 1K Fun Run is £5 per person.
