Pericles, Prince of Tyre

The troubled Pericles travels through history and place experiencing shipwrecks, heartbreak and murder. Shakespeare’s complex story, has comedy, chivalry and magic to entertain and enthrall.
A little known play, but considered to be one of the most popular with audiences, Pericles is a seafaring prince in a series of exhilarating adventures like a Dr Who of the 1600s. Meet, on the way, colourful characters including knights and magicians, royalty and fisherfolk, pirates and murderers and heroes.

This play dazzles its audience with unending energy and surprises, locations and eras. Always popular yet rarely performed, Pericles is a story like no other Shakespeare.
