BALFOUR WINERY, Staplehurst

Give Mum a chance to sit back, relax and enjoy the view with an afternoon tea at Balfour Winery. The dainty finger sandwiches and pastries will be paired with a selection of Balfour’s award-winning wines, and it’s all set against the backdrop of the 400-acre vineyard.

HEVER CASTLE, Edenbridge

The historic grounds of Hever Castle are the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing meal with Mum. There’s a luxury afternoon tea in the oak-panelled Tudor Suite, with stunning views of the castle and its formal lawns, and you can walk it off as you explore the ground’s display of spring flowers including tulips, cherry and apple blossom, early rhododendrons, hyacinths, camassias and bluebells.

HOWLETTS WILD ANIMAL PARK, Bekesbourne
