The Bill's DCI Burnside will be going full-on baddie in panto in Kent this Christmas.
Chris Ellison, who played gruff Frank Burnside from 1984 to 2000, will play Captain Hook in the EM Forster Theatre's panto Peter Pan in Tonbridge this festive season.
Wicked Productions are back for a fourth year at the theatre after last year's Jack and the Beanstalk broke box office records.
The show, which will run from Friday, December 13 to Sunday, January 5, 2020, will take audiences on a journey with Peter Pan, Wendy and the children as they head for the second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning to beat the vicious Captain Hook and provide a loving home to the Lost Boys.
But ever lurking in the water is the nasty croc, waiting to get the ‘upper hand’.
Back by popular demand is Tom Swift as Smee and TV star Michael Fenton Stevens as Sea Dog Sally with Chris Ellison playing Captain Hook, David Young as Peter Pan, and local Lauren Brindley as Wendy.
Kat Portman Smith from the theatre said: "We are delighted to be working with Tom Swift and Wicked Productions again to give our audiences a festive treat to remember. Each year we see generations of families and friends returning, and new audiences coming along to enjoy Wicked’s brilliantly funny and magical family pantomimes and this year’s Peter Pan will be a cracker.
Tom Swift from Wicked Productions added: "We're thrilled to be back for our fourth year with one of our favourite pantomimes, Peter Pan. We know after many re-writes of the script that it's going to be our funniest yet."
The show promises fabulous scenery, costumes, special effects, crazy jokes, audience participation and lashings of panto magic.
To book tickets go to emftheatre.com or call the box office on 01732 304241.
