Ice skating returns to the Tower of London this year with a larger rink and other new features for this Christmas.
The open air rink, a train ride away from Kent, will feature a larger ice rink to give skaters more room to soak up the spectacular views of the iconic fortress n the capital.
After a glide on the ice visitors can relax in the Ice Rink Café and Bar provided by Miss Polly’s, and enjoy grab-and-go snacks, indulgent treats and hot drinks. On Friday and Saturday evenings, skaters and spectators will be able to enjoy cocktails from an expert mixologist of the Four Seasons Hotel.
This year, for families visiting, the number of penguin skate aids, available to pre-book online, has been doubled, and there are also party packages for groups celebrating a special occasion, which come with a skating session, food and drink, as well as a VIP area. Adults looking to upgrade their visit can also book a Prosecco and Skate package.
The venue will also be holding special offers including 25 per cent off on admission for Save The Children’s Christmas Jumper Day
for those who wear a Christmas sweater on Friday, December 13.
Visitors can make a day of it and explore The Tower of London, which is home to the Crown Jewels, Beefeaters and ravens and will be decked for the festive period.
The Tower of London Ice Rink is open daily from Saturday, November 16 until Sunday, January 5, 2020 (except Christmas Day).
