Charles Dickens has been described as ‘the man who invented Christmas’.
So what could be more festive than a family day out at Dickens World at Chatham?
Visitors can currently enjoy a 60-minute guided Dickensian Christmas tour around the attraction, which takes visitors back in time to the Victorian England that Dickens knew and wrote about in his classic novella A Christmas Carol.
The tour will be followed by a real Winter Wonderland Experience including story time with Mother Christmas, gingerbread decorating with elves and a chance to meet Santa and receive a gift.
Admission also includes a complimentary ticket per person to see the panto Aladdin at the site’s Britannia Theatre.
The experience is suitable for children aged three to 15.
It is open on selected times and dates until Christmas Eve, priced £20 per person (adult and child). Call 0844 858 6656.
