A summer market with street food, artisan groceries and arts and crafts will be held at Holman's Field in Hythe this weekend.
Zoom Events' Late Summer Market, which replaces the Hythe Harvest Festival, will run from Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27.
The open-air shopping experience, which is close to the Royal Military Canal, will have a different layout and new safety measures to allow for social distancing, as well as an outdoor seating area with distanced tables and queuing systems for the bar and food outlets, with handmade groceries as well as live pottery and visiting authors.
The Famous Last Stand Bar will be stocking 15 real ales from local breweries.
Paul Kennedy, director of organisers Zoom Events, said: "We will be adhering to the latest government guidelines including the Rule of Six and a track and trace system will also be in operation at this weekend’s market. We want to create a relaxing experience that is also safe for people to enjoy at this time.
"We are also starting to plan our events for 2021, when we hope that things will have returned to normal so that we can bring back all of the elements that have made our Hythe events successful in previous years."
The market will be open from 11am to 7pm on Friday; 9am to 7pm on Saturday, and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
