A rock, blues and roots music festival which took a year's break due to the pandemic returns this week with a celebration marking 50 years of a classic album.
This year's A New Day Festival, which returns to Mount Ephraim Gardens in Hernhill from Friday, August 20 to Sunday, August 22, features, among other acts, a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Jethro Tull’s classic album Aqualung.
Created by enthusiastic music lovers who appreciate the importance of good ale, as well as food and nostalgic music,
it will feature the Martin Barre Band with special guests and fellow Tull legends, Clive Bunker and Dee Palmer marking the milestone.
Acts on the line-up also include Seth Lakeman; Martin Turner ex of Wishbone Ash; Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel and Big Country.
