Wildlife daredevil Steve Backshall will be heading out on an expedition to Kent this weekend.
The BAFTA-winning adventurer and wildlife expert who is known the world over as the presenter of the BBC's Deadly 60, will be at Bluewater shopping centre near Dartford on Saturday, July 20.
His other series include Steve Backshall’s Extreme Mountain Challenge, Down the Mighty River, and Steve Backshall and the Vertical Mile as well as Blue Planet Live, alongside Chris Packham.
His latest book, Expedition, gives an unflinching account of his adventures into uncharted territories around the globe, in search of world firsts.
Each location brings its own epic challenges - whether it's the first climb of an arctic ice fall in Greenland, the first recorded navigation of a South American river, or the first exploration of the world's longest cave system in Mexico. But they all also all represent new tests of the limits of human endeavour.
It accompanies a major 10-part series on BBC and Dave.
Steve will be at Waterstones in Bluewater on Saturday, July 20, at 2pm to sign copies of the book and meet fans.
The event is free but fans need a copy of Expedition to meet Steve.
Bookseller Becca Tye said: “We're so looking forward to this signing; he's always so interesting and his fans are incredibly enthusiastic."
