A show about the depths of the human mind reaches dizzy heights this weekend.
With glass platforms 10ft above the audience, Depths of My Mind, features breathtaking aerial displays from the four performers and comes to Canterbury on Sunday, November 13.
Being staged by Scarabeus Aerial Theatre, the group’s artistic director, Daniela Essart, said: “We have a dream team of aerialists, actors and dancers.
“We bring to life the latest developments in neuroscience and neuroimaging connected to the teenage brain to explore what it’s like to be changing and searching for somewhere to belong.”
Four characters – each a teenager, with his or her own developing characteristics – discover what it’s like to grow and change, make friends, or not, feel isolated or loved, challenged or bored, stalked or ignored.
“The platforms are see-through so the audience can gaze at the performers and vice versa.”
Depths of My Mind will be at the Gulbenkian in Canterbury. For tickets from £8.50 visit thegulbenkian.co.uk
