With an international career spanning three decades, Nigel Kennedy is the best-selling violinist of all time.

Last year, the 57-year-old had rave reviews for his sell-out tour and is now back on the road with Bach Plus, a maverick musical programme celebrating the music of Bach, as well as other composers who have influenced him.

The concert takes the listener on a journey which begins with Bach sonatas and partitas for solo violin, after which he is joined by an acoustic guitarist, a snare drum and a double bass to perform his own arrangements of some of his favourite music.

The evening includes works by the violinist himself, including Melody in the Wind, which featured on the Last Night of the Proms.

Nigel will be on stage at the Assembly Hall Theatre, Tunbridge Wells, on Wednesday, March 5.

Tickets £39. Call 01892 530613.
