Are you beach ready and raring to go for the annual Sandcastle Competition in Folkestone?

Overlooked by the Folkestone Mermaid, from her beach vantage point, this year’s will be held on Sunny Sands beach on Sunday, July 21.

It runs from 10am, with teams being asked for a minimum donation of £10.

Proceeds go to the Church Street project which provides creative therapy and therapeutic counselling.

Special guest Les Miserables star Steven Meo will be on hand to see the creations.
