He’s a modern day journeyman - and a very nice man to boot.
From crossing Antarctica to conquering Everest, Ben Fogle will take his audience on an inspiring adventure for his Tales From the Wilderness tour.
The UN Patron of the Wilderness, Ben has travelled the world, published bestsellers and his TV shows are a global hit watched by millions.
A former reservist in the Royal Navy, Ben has gone on to present TV programmes including Animal Park, Wild in Africa, Wild on the West Coast, Crufts, One Man and His Dog, Country Tracks, Extreme Dreams and A Year of Adventures.
His broadcasting escapades have taken him to more than 200 places including Tristan da Cunha, Pitcairn, St Helena, East Timor, Nepal, Namibia, Kenya, the Arctic Circle, Zambia, Papua New Guinea, Uganda, Libya, Sri Lanka, Fiji, Tahiti, Maldives, Tanzania and Morocco.
He’s also made documentaries on Prince William in Africa, disease in Ethiopia, Captain Scott in Antarctica and Crocodiles in Botswana and is a fellow of the Royal Geographic Society; an ambassador to WWF, Tusk and Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and Patron of The Red Cross.
A keen sailor, Ben has run the Marathon Des Sables and a keen dog walker - he and his wife Marina met in 2006 when they were in the park walking their dogs. He also recently published his first children’s book, Mr Dog and the Rabbit Habit.
His tour will see him recount his thrilling tales with warmth and honesty, thrilling tales and plenty of multi media.
