Wondering where to head this weekend? As more sights reopen safely, there's more choice than ever.
Here's the latest you can do across the county from this weekend:
ROYAL ENGINEERS MUSEUM
It may be historic, but it’s fully up to date with the latest guidelines ready for reopening this weekend.
The Royal Engineers Museum, on Prince Arthur Road in Gillingham, will reopen to the public on Saturday, August 15, with reduced opening hours, pre-booked entrance times and a one way system in place for visitors.
Museum director, Rebecca Nash, said: “We are delighted to welcome visitors back to the Royal Engineers Museum, Gillingham. We’ve thoroughly prepared our historic site to adhere to the government guidelines and to achieve the We’re Good To Go standard. The relaunch of the museum’s galleries & services will hopefully encourage our visitors to be further inspired by the history of the Royal Engineers innovative approach to unprecedented challenges.”
Additional measures include an enhanced cleaning system and the installation of hygiene screens & sanitiser stations in the museum’s reception and galleries. The museum’s café will also reopen with a reduced menu and fewer tables to accommodate social distancing measures.
The museum will be free for members of the Royal Engineers Association - just present your membership card on arrival. For more details go to re-museum.co.uk
HOO SPORTS CENTRE
Medway Council is set to reopen its sports centre in Hoo to customers from Saturday, August 15.
While other sites in the area reopened, it had remained closed so its car park could be used as a coronavirus testing site.
Customers will be able to use the gym and pool at the sports centre in Main Road, Hoo, and need to pre-book and pay in advance online. Book here.
THE ROCKITS
Pop along to an open-air screening of Grease 2020 The Madcap Mini Movie on Saturday, August 15 at Tenterden Recreation Ground from 10am to 7pm, staged by local singing group The Rockit choir.
The movie will be shown on a giant LED screen in the park to thank NHS workers. Donations are welcomed.

Popular family screenings are also back on Sunday afternoons, with Onward and Trolls World Tour the first offerings. Initially the cinema will screen films Thursday to Sunday, with an aim of returning to a full offering in September.
