Dartford: Celebrity Masterchef winner John Partridge leads murder mystery The Case of the Frightened Lady

Spine chilling murder mystery The Case of the Frightened Lady comes to Dartford with a new cast for its autumn tour.

TV star John Partridge, who recently won Celebrity Masterchef and is best known for his role as Christian in EastEnders, come to the star-studded cast as Inspector Tanner.

The role, which leads the cast, is a departure from his musical roles in Cats, Chicago and La Cage Aux Folles.

He will be joined by Deborah Grant, who has starred in Not Going Out and Bergerac and Robert Duncan, best known for his role in Drop the Dead Donkey. Phillip Lowrie plays Kelver, and is best known for his role as Dennis Tanner in Coronation Street, while Scarlett Archer, who plays Isla, is best known as Nell Fairfax in Emmerdale.

Inspector Tanner is called in to investigate a ruthless murder at a grand ancestral home belonging to the Lebanon family. He must navigate a bloodline obsesses patriarch, a groundskeeper with a grudge and two unsettling footmen to discover that nothing is as it seems and that there is a shocking and closely-guarded secret.

The Classic Thriller Company has produced adaptations of Ruth Rendell and Agatha Christie stories, as well as from the writers of Murder She Wrote.

The Case of the Frightened Lady will be at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford

Now they stage this show from the king of the detective thriller Edgar Wallace. Directed by Roy Marsden, who previously directed rehearsal for Murder and A Judgement in Stone, the show comes to the Orchard Theatre in Dartford from Monday, November 5 to Saturday, November 10.
