Former Glastonbury headliners Florence + the Machine are coming to Kent next month.
The band, whose singer Florence Welch is well known for her eclectic style, will be at the first UK WeWork Summer Camp. It takes place at Eridge, near Tunbridge Wells, on August 18 and 20.
The band’s debut album Lungs won a bucketful of awards in 2009 and they have gone on to become one of the biggest indie bands on the circuit.
Their third album - How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful - was released in June 2015. It reached No.1 in eight countries, including the UK. The same year they were the headline act at Glastonbury.
Also on the bill at Eridge are Two Door Cinema Club, Galantis, Crystal Fighters, Baauer and Nervo.
Held in New York for the past five years, this will be the first time the WeWork Summer Camp has come to the UK. The two-day camp is a summer escape for WeWork employees and their expansive network of over 120,000 global members.
Campers will get all-inclusive access to meals and drinks from the dining tents and bars.
In addition to the wide range of talks, wellness and fitness classes, networking workshops, music, dance parties, lake boating and wild swimming, team sports and games, classic camp activities, archery and wilderness walks and creative workshops will be on offer.
The camp will be transformed into a festival at night.
“We’re excited to introduce the WeWork Summer Camp to UK members in the beautiful location that is Eridge Park," said Eugen Miropolski of WeWork Europe.
"It will be a great opportunity for teams to get out of the office, network with other WeWork members, have some fun and ultimately relax.”
Tickets start at £395 and is for over 21s only. The cost covers transport from London or Tunbridge Wells, camping, lockers, meals, snacks, drinks, all activities and, of course, the live music.
