Disney's much anticipated new streaming service launches today and is offering a free seven day trial.
The house of mouse is expected to come to the rescue of thousands of families stuck at home as a result of the coronavirus outbreak who are looking for more and more ways to entertain their offspring.
From today (Tuesday) more than 1,000 films and television series will be available in a new subscription service.
Content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic will be amongst the options to watch and/or download.
More than 600 episodes of The Simpsons will also be available from launch day, alongside various animated classics and live action features.
More recent Disney blockbusters - including the recently released Frozen 2 - are also expected to be added to the streaming service in the coming weeks and months.
Disney+ is available to enjoy on your television or watch on laptops, tablets and phones. It can also be streamed on up to four screens at once, say Disney, which is likely to be hugely welcomed by households with all family members suddenly now forced to be at home together.
Disney+ is available from Tuesday, March 24, for a £59.99 annual subscription or £5.99 a month.
But the option of a 7-day free trial is also currently available for families wishing to put Disney+ to the test without committing to a full subscription. More details available on that here.
