Watchfinder & Co at Bluewater gives free watchmaking classes over May bank holiday, 2015

Get hands-on this May bank holiday weekend at Watchfinder & Co, Bluewater, and take part in a free watchmaking masterclass.

From Saturday, May 2 to Monday, May 4 join expert watchmakers in-store who will be taking apart the devices and showing customers how to put together roughly 200 moving parts, which are under 3mm each.

The weekend celebrates the official launch of the store, which opened in December.

Watchfinder earned more than £6m of investment from private equity

With hundreds of second hand watches on display, including brands such as Rolex, Omega and TAG Heuer, visitors can enjoy discounts and enter a competition to win a Rolex Datejust worth £2,500.

There are two watchmaking sessions a day, at 12pm and 4pm lasting for an hour.

Watchfinder have completed a record-breaking year in 2014, with an annual turnover of £36m.
