Based on an autobiography by Motown founder Berry Gordy, the show explores the remarkable rise of Gordy - who had launched the careers of legends such as Diana Ross and the Supremes, Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and Marvin Gaye.
Performed at the Shaftesbury Theatre and featuring an 18 piece orchestra playing 50 tracks including My Girl, Dancing In The Street, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough and I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Motown The Musical has been described by critics as a musical sensation with real soul.
