Festival season is in full swing, but the live music doesn’t have to end once summer is over.
The latter half of the year sees some huge artists coming to The O2 in London, an easily accessible venue for many Kent locals, and there are still some tickets available…
Charli XCX
Charli XCX is one of the UK’s biggest popstars and, after the release of her sixth album, Brat, last month, the singer-songwriter is at the top of her game. From her single Speed Drive appearing on the Barbie soundtrack last summer to collaborating with Robyn on her recent single 360, Charli XCX shows no signs of slowing down.

Justin Timberlake
He’s been a household name since the ‘90s and now, multi-million-selling singer Justin Timberlake is finally bringing his Forget Tomorrow World Tour to the UK. His two dates at The O2 will include songs from the new album, Everything I Thought It Was, as well as fan favourites like SexyBack and Can’t Stop the Feeling.

Niall Horan
He rose to fame as one-fifth of One Direction but, since the group’s split in 2016, Niall Horan has been a breakout solo star. The Irish performer is celebrating the release of his second No. 1 album, The Show, with a huge nationwide tour.

Janet Jackson
Janet Jackson has been in the music business for 50 years and, to mark the occasion, she’s bringing her Together Again tour to London. The Grammy Award-winning singer will be performing tunes from one of her best-selling albums, Rhythm Nation, for fans with a full-on production.

McFly
McFly are turning a milestone age. It’s been 21 years since the boyband, fronted by Strictly star Tom Fletcher and The Voice Kids judge Danny Jones, first formed. The pop-rock four-piece will be playing a string of hits, including All About You, Five Colours in Her Hair and Obviously, as a birthday treat.

Lauryn Hill
She’s one of the most influential women in hip-hop and R&B and, now, Ms. Lauryn Hill is going back to where it all began. She’s heading out on a co-headliner tour with The Fugees, the band where she first found fame, and is also performing songs from The Miseducation of Ms. Lauryn Hill, recently named the best album of all time by Apple Music.

Deep Purple
Deep Purple pioneered the UK’s hard rock and heavy metal movement in the 1970s. Five decades later, the riff-laden band, fronted by the legendary Ian Gillan, are back on the road for another global tour, bringing huge anthems to arenas all over the world.

Kasabian
Indie fans are getting treated to a double bill of top tunes as BRIT Award winners Kasabian and Mike Skinner’s The Streets head out on tour together. The pair are hitting the road to perform huge hits, from Dry Your Eyes and Fit But You Know It to Underdog and Fire.

Journey
American rock band Journey are bringing their 50th anniversary tour, Freedom, to the UK and Ireland this winter, stopping off at The O2 for one night. The ‘80s group will be performing some of their best-known hits, including Don’t Stop Believin’ and Any Way You Want It, and they will also be joined on tour by Cheap Trick.

Sleep Token
Innovative rock band Sleep Token have taken the British music scene by storm over the last few years, culminating in two huge shows at The O2. The group, who conceal their identities by wearing masks, pair unbelievable vocals with sweeping metal riffs and have racked up millions of fans worldwide - including American singer Demi Lovato.
