Ice skating will return to Tunbridge Wells this Christmas.
The rink in Calverley Gardens opens on Friday, November 18, with festive food and drink, music and plenty of festive cheer.
Supported by Tunbridge Wells council, it has a capacity for up to 250 skaters - of all abilities - at a time and will be open seven days a week, except Christmas Day.
There will be a spectators area for those who want to look on rather than get their skates on.
Main skating sessions will take place from 11am to 9pm. The last on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year’s Day will be 5pm. The rink stays open until Monday, January 2.
Cllr Jane March from the council said: "When the ice rink opens in Royal Tunbridge Wells, it’s a sign that Christmas is coming! If you haven’t visited the rink in Calverley Grounds you really should, it’s a lovely thing to do with a truly festive feel."
Food on offer includes real ales, crafts beers and seasonal gins as well as soft drinks and mulled wine and cider, and seasonal food, pulled pork brioche and gourmet burgers.
There will be parent and toddler sessions every morning between 9.45am and 10.15am and Monday to Friday from Monday, November 21 and Friday, December 16 at 2pm at £7 for one adult and one toddler.
Tickets cost £10.50 and £7 for children aged four and over. Tickets include the hire of skating boots and last for 45 minutes. There is also a season ticket at £150 for unlimited skating.
