TV host Graham Norton is celebrating the release of his latest book with a live tour.
The award-winning comic will be visiting theatres across the country, including a night in Folkestone, to discuss his upcoming novel, share stories from his showbiz sofa and take questions from the audience.
Since rising to fame in the 1990s, Graham has been part of some of the UK’s biggest television shows including the Eurovision Song Contest, Wheel of Fortune and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
His Saturday night chat show, the Graham Norton Show, has been running since 2007 and is known for its star-studded guestlist.
The show has seen appearances from A-list celebrities such as Meryl Streep, Hugh Grant, Joan Collins, Dawn French, Will Smith, Tom Hanks and Kylie Minogue all making multiple appearances over the past 17 years.
For his on-screen work, the presenter has received nine BAFTAs, 10 British Comedy Awards, an International Emmy Award and the NTA Special Recognition Award.
In more recent years, the TV star has turned his hand to writing with his debut novel, Holding, being published in 2016.
Holding was adapted into an ITV drama, directed by Kathy Burke, and his following books - A Keeper, Home Stretch and Forever Home - became bestsellers.
The writer’s new novel, Frankie, sees an elderly woman look back on her life, from 1940s Ireland to 1960s New York, through stories told to her young carer, Damian.
The tour will give fans a chance to hear more about the new book, which is published in September, and is a rare opportunity to see one of the UK’s biggest TV personalities live on stage.
Graham Norton will be at Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone on Tuesday, September 17. Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 22 at 10am and can be purchased online here.
Ticket options also include a copy of the new book.
