Now in its 16th year, the Festival of Steam and Transport is back for Easter, and promises to be bigger than ever as part of the dockyard's 400th birthday celebrations.

The delights of steam through the years, traditional rides and steampunks are among the fun of the fair at the Historic Dockyard Chatham over the two-day event.

Heavyweight steam engines, vintage vehicles and running trains will be powering through the dockyard site as the festivities take over.

The traditional funfair will be bigger than ever with a variety of fairground rides, including the dodgems, swing boats and the Chair-O-Planes.
