Relight your fire as the new Take That musical returns to Kent for another round of nostalgic pop hits.
Greatest Days, previously known as The Band, follows five boyband-obsessed school friends who follow their ‘90s heartthrobs to a reunion concert.
The production is set to a soundtrack of Take That tunes and is coming to the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury for six nights.
The show stars Rachel Marwood, who has previously worked in musical theatre, short films and comedy.
Dancing on Ice champion Regan Gascoigne and TikTok star Kitty Harris will also be appearing as part of the cast.
The production, which boasts a book by award-winning playwright Tim Firth and music from the chart-topping boyband, was previously named The Band and made its stage debut in Manchester in 2017.
The current tour celebrates 30 years since Take That’s first No. 1 single Pray, which was released in 1993.
The soundtrack features a number of the band’s most well-known songs, including Relight My Fire, Back for Good and Never Forget.
Take That were one of the biggest-selling boybands of the 1990s, achieving chart-topping singles and numerous awards during the decade.
The band split shortly after Robbie Williams’ departure in 1995, with the remaining band members Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange reuniting in 2006.
The Canterbury dates come shortly after the film adaptation of Greatest Days, starring Aisling Bea and Jayde Adams, was released in cinemas in June.
Greatest Days will be at the Marlowe Theatre from Monday, July 31 to Saturday, August 5. You can book online here.
