Bestselling children's author Jacqueline Wilson is making a rare appearance in the county this week, and she looks back at her life and work in an exclusive interview in this week's What's On ahead of the 'An audience with' event.
Birmingham-born singer Steve Winwood found fame in the 1960s with the Spencer Davis Group, whose singles included Keep on Running and Gimme Some Lovin’, before going solo in the 1980s with hits including Valerie and Higher Love. He will be performing at Margate's Winter Gardens this week, and chats to What's On about what will be in store for fans.
Hyperactive comedian Russell Kane will be previewing new show Smallness in Kent this week. Ahead of the gig, he tells What’s On about his love of Lucozade, Beyonce and all things geeky.
Margate demolition expert Danny Wisker, who appeared last year on ITV2 reality show Girlfri3nds, is now launching his own events company. In this week's What's On he reveals details of a launch night taking place at a Kent nightclub on Saturday, which will be attended by stars from MTV reality shows Geordie Shore and The Valleys.
