The Mako System uses a 3D virtual model of a patient’s knee to create a completely personalised surgical plan. The surgeon held robotic-arm with AccuStop™ haptic technology transforms the way joint replacements are performed, allowing greater precision and accuracy and less bone and soft tissue damage.

Most patients who undergo robotic-arm assisted surgery with a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at KIMS Hospital, could experience less post-operative pain and potentially benefit from faster recovery times.This helps patients to return to their daily activities sooner.
