Kent Game and Country Fair at Hole Park, Rolvenden plus Kent County Show news
Published: 08:00, 22 June 2016
Two days devoted to all things rural will be held at Hole Park in Rolvenden this weekend. The Kent Game and Country Fair has three action-packed arenas with displays, demonstrations and stunts throughout both days.
Ever seen horseboarding? Literally like skateboarding while being towed by a horse, the Horse Boarding UK Championship will be one of the highlights, along with sheepdog displays and British Scurry and Trails Driving Arena Challenge.
All things canine-related fill one of the arenas, as Our World of Dogs brings hounds, obedience displays and lurcher racing to the show.
You can also see heavy horses, falconry displays and ferreting during the two-day event, which also includes 150 exhibitors, with a craft village and food show.
The Kent Games and Country Fair is at Hole Park Estate, Rolvenden TN17 4JA, on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26 between 10am and 6pm.

NEXT MONTH'S BIG EVENT
The biggest showcase of rural life in the county, the Kent County Show celebrates agriculture in Kent like no other. This year’s show is a week earlier than usual, on Friday, July 8, Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10, and will be at the Kent Showground in Detling, near Maidstone.
With livestock parades, showjumping and young farmers showing off their well-cared for flocks, the event also has a dedicated woodland area where you can see rural skills in the flesh including speed carving and chainsaw sculpting, as well as learning about bushcraft.
