Christmas on the Home Front at Kent Life in Sandling, Maidstone

The sights, sounds and tastes of life during the Second World War at Christmas will be recreated this weekend at Kent Life.

Christmas on the Home Front will include cookery demonstrations from the Ministry of Food and community carol singing.

There will also be fun activities for children including wartime school lessons, and workshops to make Christmas cards, decorations and presents.

It will be taking place at the attraction in Sandling, near Maidstone, from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1.

Admission is priced £7 for adults, £5 for children aged three to 15 and free for under 3s. Call 01622 763936.
