There’s just a few days left to get your nominations in for the first Kent & Medway Food & Drink Awards.
If you nominate your hospitality heroes before the deadline at 5pm on Wednesday, January 10, you’ll also be entered into our prize draw to win £100 to spend at your favourite pub or restaurant.
The awards, presented by KM Media Group, want to give credit to those who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional food and drink, whether that’s the landlord at your local village pub or a top-notch chef that tickles your taste buds.
You can submit your nominations here.
The winners will be selected by a panel of independent judges, including renowned Kent-based chef Richard Phillips and Great British Bake Off finalist Jane Beedle.
You can nominate as many times as you want, however, your details will only be entered into the prize draw once.
If you have already submitted your nominations then you have automatically been entered into the draw and do not need to nominate again.
Businesses are also welcome to nominate themselves in any category and there’s no limit to how many nominations you can make - all we ask is that your nominations are for businesses based in Kent or Medway.
The finalists will be announced in KM Group newspapers and KentOnline from Wednesday, January 17, and winners will be revealed at the Spitfire Ground in Canterbury on Tuesday, February 27.
We want you to nominate your foodie favourites across 12 categories:
Beverage Producer of the Year
Chef of the Year
Farm Shop / Deli of the Year
Food Bank of the Year
Food and Drink Hero
Food Producer of the Year
Hospitality Champion Kent
Hotel of the Year
Pub / Bar of the Year
