The car show and street entertainment as part of the Herne Bay Festival,

First launched in 1993 in an effort to draw the town’s community and businesses closer together, the Herne Bay Festival is still going strong 20 years later.

This year’s festival has a Creatures of the Deep theme, with activities including seashore monster hunting, a seaside fancy dress lantern parade and Lobster A La Cart street theatre.

These are just some of more than 100 events taking place in the town during the nine-day festival, including live music, street theatre, performances, workshops, competitions and parades.

All the favourite regulars will be back, including the giant family picnic, the monster crab catching competition, Herne Bay’s Got Talent and a fantastic fireworks display.
