Dream Valley, a new dance festival with more than 100 music acts over seven stages, has announced it will now be held at Lydd Airport on Romney Marsh.

The festival, which will welcome music fans on Saturday, May 28, was originally due to take place at Danson Park, near Bexley. However, organisers have now revealed the new venue to be Lydd Airport, also known as Lydd London Ashford Airport.

All tickets remain valid and there will be party buses arranged to take visitors to and from the festival ground. The buses will run from a number of locations, including Canterbury, Maidstone, Medway, Ramsgate and Tunbridge Wells and prices start from £12.50.

There will also be a selection of shuttle buses running from DA postcodes, which will be free to compensate for the festival’s change in location.

Speaking of the move, Dream Valley organisers have said: “The Kent mecca has played host to Dance Music Culture for over 30 years, invoking memories of some of the UK’s biggest legal raves.

“Now, the fields surrounding the airport will be transformed, ready to take you to another dimension full of dance music, immersive art and wellbeing experiences.”

The immersive dance festival is set to combine electronic music artists with interactive experiences to create a unique live entertainment event. Visitors can take part in a range of activities throughout the day, including roller disco, yoga workshops, wellbeing classes and an outdoor cinema.

There will also be a street food market to tuck into and, if your feet need a rest from the dancefloor, you can relax in the VIP garden.
