Stand-up comedians are renowned for their adult subject matter and colourful language.
But an hour of child-friendly stand-up will be on offer at Folkestone's Quarterhouse on Sunday, January 19.
The show for youngsters aged six and above will be hosted by former CBBC presenter and award-winning comedian Iain Stirling.
A BAFTA Best Children’s Presenter nominee in 2011, the Scottish performer has appeared at comedy festivals around the country and appeared on BBC show Russell Howard’s Good News.
It is taking place at 2.30pm in the Quarterhouse in Tontine Street.
Tickets are £6 for adults, £5 for children and £20 for a family (two adults and two children).
Budding young comedians can also take part in a masterclass that teaches kids how to write and perform comedy, turning their own experiences into stand-up jokes and sketches.
The two-hour workshop, held straight after the show at 3.45pm, costs £15 per child.
