There’s a chance to catch a colourful three piece a capella act who perform songs from the 1930s right up to the present day.
Coming to the Horsebridge Centre, Whitstable, on Friday, February 20 are the Decibelles, who bring their fresh arrangements of songs old and new.
Playing sold-out gigs in their local area of west London, this will be their first venture further afield, and they can’t wait to try out their retro mash-ups on the seaside crowd.
All three have links to Kent – Janet Oates was born and raised in the Medway Towns, Dee O’Kelly worked at kmfm as the traffic and travel reporter and Wendy Linsey lived in Herne Bay and worked in Kent for six years.
They hope to see many friends from those happy times as well as attracting vintage enthusiasts in the area for an evening of fun from 8pm. Tickets cost £12 in advance or £13 on the door.
