Published: 05:00, 11 October 2021
For Year 11s at schools across the county, it's been tough for the past 18 months.
After many months of disrupted education due to the pandemic, there are important decisions to make in terms of what to do next - but help is at hand, with The Next Step magazine.
The free glossy magazine, which is out now, has tips for revision and coping with stress, as well as ways to plan ahead and schedule for the year ahead so no important milestones are missed.
It also features experts' advice and guidance on how to cope with open days and interviews, whether they are in person or online, and on how to decide what is right for students at 16+.
There's also ideas about what job they might want to do in the future; how to create a CV to get noticed, and what apprenticeships are out there.
It's a big year in terms of deciding where to go next year and what they will be doing, but whatever the next steps are that need to be made, The Next Step can help Year 11s through them.
Several thousand copies are being delivered direct to Kent and Medway schools, so you should be able to pick one up at school, and they will also be available at some selected outlets across the county.
An e-edition is also be available by clicking here.
The magazine is published by the KM Group, which is part of Iliffe Media.
