Fans of retro pop star Paloma Faith will have the chance to see her perform in Kent when she brings her tour to Folkestone.

Miss Faith will embark on a full UK tour in October and November, and the Leas Cliff Hall will play host to the singer and her entourage on Monday, November 24.

The performer's third album, A Perfect Contradiction, shot straight to number two when it was released in March and hasn’t shown any sign of moving from the top ten since. A new single Only Love Can Hurt Like This will be released on Monday, May 12.

The singer last performed in Kent in June 2013, during Forest Live at Bedgebury Pinetum.

She then amused local fans by joking: "Hello Bedgebury Pines! I can't pronounce the name of this place - I have been practicing all day, but I think maybe I should just stick to Kent."

Her biggest hits have included Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful, New York, and Upside Down, as well as a cover of INXS' Never Tear Us Apart.

Tickets for the upcoming Folkestone concert go on sale this Friday, April 4 and cost from £30.50. Call 0844 871 3015 or visit www.atgtickets.com/folkestone
