Mote Park manager Alan Frith said: "This is a wonderful competition which really engages people with the park.

"It’s a beautiful site with such diverse landscapes and wildlife, and it changes with each season. It’s a real treat to see all the entries come in each year."

The contest is open for entries this year from Friday, March 1 until Saturday, August 31; they must be taken within the park and categories include landscapes, seasons and wildlife. Find out more here.

Cllr Paul Harper from Maidstone council added: "This exhibition will provide a great showcase not only for the photographs but also for the park itself, which is undoubtedly the star of the show."
