Jess Glynne to perform at Dreamland as part of the Margate Summer Series 2024

Record-breaking singer Jess Glynne is making her debut at a Kent venue this summer.
The popstar will be hitting the stage at Dreamland as part of this year’s Margate Summer Series, bringing her chart-topping hits to the coast.
After taking a three-year break from music, the performer is returning to the stage to promote the release of her third album, Jess.
Her headline set at Margate’s outdoor venue and vintage fairground will include the singer’s comeback single, Silly Me, as well as her back catalogue of music.
Jess Glynne first rose to fame after providing guest vocals for chart-topping singles by house producer Route 94 and electronic music band Clean Bandit in 2014.
Since then, the musician has broken out as a solo artist and released a string of No. 1 singles, including Hold My Hand, Don’t Be So Hard on Yourself and I’ll Be There.
Her first two albums, I Cry When I Laugh and Always In Between, achieved Platinum status and saw the artist nominated for nine BRIT Awards.
Over the past decade, the London-born singer has also collected a Grammy Award and three Ivor Novello nominations and supported the Spice Girls on their nationwide stadium tour.
However, her career hasn’t been without controversy.
In 2019, Jess was banned from the Isle of Wight Festival after cancelling her set with only 10 minutes’ warning. She also cancelled a series of performances later that year, including a night at the Rochester Castle Concerts, and more recently has been in the press for her high-profile relationship with former footballer and TV presenter Alex Scott.
Despite going on a short hiatus, the 34-year-old singer signed a new record deal with EMI last year and announced a series of live shows in the USA and some UK festival appearances.
Jess Glynne will be at Dreamland in Margate on Friday, July 26. You can book tickets here.
She will be supported at her Kent gig by Irish singer-songwriter and TikTok sensation Cian Ducrot.
