Scariest Halloween events for adults in 2019

Halloween is around the corner, and scare events are about to creep up on you. Prepare to be scared with these events in Kent:
HALLOWEEN HORRORS, FORT AMHERST, CHATHAM
Fort Amherst at Chatham has more than 35 years of scaring experience, so its scare nights are not for the faint hearted.
The Frightening Freaks of Fort Amherst will know how to make you jump, shiver and tremble in your boots. Prepared to be scared from Friday, October 25 through to Saturday, November 2.
The site has been part of a heritage regeneration project costing £1.78m with Medway Council and the Fort Amherst Heritage Trust. There are events for adults, teens and for children. To check out what’s lurking in the terrifying tunnels, and to book, find out more here.
Broadwitch Hauntfest at Southfleet near Gravesend will have something scary for all ages this year. For the horror-hardened, there's five haunts - Spooky Castle, Biometrix, The Edge, Thirteen Freaks and Massacre. There are night events for those wanting the full-on freaky experience, and also daytime events for younger ones. Activities run on selected days through to Halloween, Thursday, October 31. QUEXTREME TERROR, QUEX PARK, BIRCHINGTON
Experience an action-packed night of fun and fear at the Thanet attraction's Quextreme Terror. Held at the Quex Activity Centre, there will be three terrifying scare attractions - Clowns of the Corn, Sinister 2: The Reckoning and Blood Shed. Find out more here.
MURDER AT HEVER CASTLE
Hever Castle’s spooktacular Halloween Dine & Stay is taking place in the Luxury Bed & Breakfast on Halloween, Thursday October 31 until Friday, November 1. The traditional 1930s Agatha Christie-style murder mystery evening will see visitors encounter Lord Hampstead, his children Lesley and Lucy, his brother Herbert and Herbert’s wife Nell along with a close friend of Lesley, Teddy Hastings and Rosie the maid.
As the lights flicker, then fade, you will become embroiled in this shocking crime. The event includes a sumptuous dining experience and the dress code is smart evening dress, or, if you want to get into character, 1930s attire. Breakfast the next morning will be in the Tudor Suite Dining Room, between 8am and 9.30am. Find out more here.
SCREAMLAND, MARGATE
There will be new faces, new maze locations and new terrors in store for brave souls who dare to enter the park after dark when Screamland returns on selected dates until Friday, November 1. The scare mazes are 12A rated and anyone 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and over at all times.
