The announcement comes after the release of his fifth full length album, Saturday Night, Sunday Morning earlier this year.

The festival, which combines live music with the Americana food, culture and activities, is due to be held from Friday, June 17 to Sunday, June 20, 2022.

Although no stranger to festival performances, it will be Jake's first UK festival appearance in 2022. Fans can expect a set that fuses his laid-back gritty swagger, refreshing sense of humour and seasoned knowledge beyond his years.

He said: "We’re all looking forward to playing Black Deer, it’s a great line up."

After two Covid-induced cancellations in 2020 and 2021, the largest growing independent UK music festival has also added Pokey LaFarge, The War and Treaty, William Prince, The Lost Brothers, Declan O’Rourke, Steak, Treetop Flyers, Yasmin Williams, True Strays, Midnight Skyracer, Isabella Coulstock and My Girl the River to the long line-up over three days.
