As we head into December, panto season is upon us, and two more of the county's theatres are set to open the curtain on their Christmas shows.
Following the opening of shows at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury and the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone last weekend, it's the turn of Gravesend and Bromley to get their panto fix.
Wicked Productions are back at the Woodville in Gravesend with Robin Hood.
The company return after last year's socially-distanced Rapunzel.
Robin Hood features local favourite Robert Pearce (aka Mama G) as Dame Tuck; ventriloquist Nicky Trix as Silly Willy Scarlett and Rob Cummings as the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood.
It runs from Friday, December 3 to Monday, January 3. Book tickets here.
And fresh from ITV’s The Masked Singer, where she appeared as Squirrel, stage star Bonnie Langford joins Lee Mead at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.
Sleeping Beauty will see Bonnie as the Good Fairy while the Holby City star will play The Prince.
She said:”We’ve got to laugh again and have fun and be a bit carefree and a bit careless and just enjoy two hours of not thinking about the real world.”
The show also stars Claudillea Holloway as Sleeping Beauty, Myra Dubois as Carabosse and Lloyd Hollett - former panto favourite at the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, as Muddles.
Sleeping Beauty will be at the Churchill Theatre from Saturday, December 4 to Sunday, January 2. To book tickets click here.
Seven shows are also set to open across the county next week. See our full guide to pantos this Christmas here.
