Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 8 at 10am. When tickets become available, you will be able to book online here.

The group, formed in London in the 1990s by frontmen Carl Barât and Pete Doherty, are best known for hits like Don’t Look Back Into the Sun, Can’t Stand Me Now and What Became of the Likely Lads.

The chart-toppers enjoyed success until Pete was jailed for six months in 2003 for burgling Carl’s flat, causing the band to go on a brief hiatus. They reunited when Pete was released and performed a reunion gig at Chatham’s Tap’n’Tin bar on the same day.

Despite several splits and reunions over the years, The Libertines released a string of singles last year, including Run Run Run, for which the music video was filmed in Margate.

Pete previously lived in the trendy coastal town, but he revealed in a documentary with Louis Theroux that he left the town and moved to France in an attempt to get sober.

Carl is also heavily involved in the town, opening nightclub Justine’s in Marine Gardens last year.

He also headlined a charity gig for The Margate School, when the arts education centre faced closure.

The Libertines will perform at Dreamland on Saturday, July 5 2025.
