It’s a star of many a Christmas table, so choosing the turkey to grace your family’s table on Christmas Day can be an important decision.

At this weekend’s Barnyard Christmas Gift and Food Fayre, in Oak Lane, Upchurch, you can sample the best in locally sourced free-range turkeys and order them in time for Christmas Day.

The fayre at the farm near Sittingbourne, which regularly opens its doors for Open Farm Sunday each spring, will have all your festive goodies under one roof.

Taste some succulent hams, gammon and sausages, local and Continental cheese, and chutneys and crackers from the local deli.

There will also be food and gift hampers, Christmas decorations and French-inspired treats. The gift shop, The Giggleberry Tree, has also been refurbished.
