Classical superstar Nigel Kennedy is on his way back to the county.
The acclaimed violinist is on tour with a typically maverick programme of music, from the baroque works of Bach to the modern jazz of Fats Waller.
Nigel will begin by performing Bach sonatas and partitas for solo violin, before he is joined by Rolf Bussalb on acoustic guitar, Krzysztof Dziedzic on snare drum and Yaron Stavi on double bass to perform his own arrangements of the music of the legendary Fats Waller as well as classical crossover pieces.
Nigel said: “Playing Bach and Fats Waller on one show is a dream for me: two amazing keyboard players, both masters of harmony and melody.”
It starts at 7.30pm on Friday, November 22, at Chatham’s Central Theatre.
Tickets, priced from £29, are sold out. Returns may be available. Call the box office on 01634 338338.
