One of Britain’s biggest popstars has proved so popular that she’s performing not one, but two, headline sets for Kent fans.

After selling out her first date, the singer added a second night at the open-air seaside venue as part of the town’s summer series of live music, which has included performances from the likes of Bryan Adams, Paloma Faith, Nile Rodgers and Craig David so far.

Since appearing on the first series of The Voice in 2012 with mentor Jessie J, the Bewdley-born vocalist has gone on to release a string of hit singles.

Best known for songs such as Remember, My Heart Goes (La Di Da), Crazy What Love Can Do and Gecko, the MOBO nominee has achieved five Top 10 singles since leaving the TV singing competition.

During her career, she has collaborated with huge stars including David Guetta, Joel Corry, Chase and Status and Galantis.

The 30-year-old also released her second album, Believe Me Now, in May, following on from 2021’s Only Honest on the Weekend.

Before the dance superstar takes to the stage, UK garage pioneer DJ Spoony will kick off the weekend with a unique concert.

The DJ and radio host is bringing his Garage Classical show to Margate where, with the help of the Ignition Orchestra and conductor Katie Chatburn, some of the genre’s best-loved songs will be reimagined with a classical twist.

DJ Spoony and the orchestra will be joined on stage by a host of guest performers, including So Solid Crew, Heartless Crew, Shola Ama, Nay Nay MC Rankin and more.

Garage Classical will be at Dreamland on Friday, August 30 and there are still tickets available here.
