It’s time to magic up a story for half term as The Worst Witch flies into the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.
The much-treasured tale by Jill Murphy of ordinary girl Mildred Hubble, who finds herself in a school for witches is set to be a big hit with fans of both the books and more recent BBC series.
Now in her final year of school, accident prone Mildred and her fellow pupils are about to embark on their biggest adventure yet.
Jealous Ethel Hallow is still out to spoil Mildred’s fun, Miss Hardbroom is opposed to all fun in general and an old enemy is set to return with a plan for revenge that could threaten not just the Academy, but everything.
The show is at the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury from Thursday, February 21 to Saturday, February 23, and then goes to the Orchard Theatre, Dartford from Wednesday, February 27 to Sunday, March 3.
