Ballet fans are in for a treat when one of the world’s leading ballet companies brings to life four of the world’s most beautiful and popular ballets with exquisite traditional productions.

The Russian State Ballet of Siberia, formed in 1981, has become established as one of the world’s leading ballet companies.

Based in the city of Krasnoyarsk, in central Siberia, the company is proud of its dancers who are highly acclaimed worldwide for their unique interpretation of both dramatic and comic roles.

Since 2002, under the artistic directorship of Sergei Bobrov, the dancers, drawn from across Russia, have been delighting audiences with their breathtaking physical ability and dazzling costumes. This year’s tour, which arrives at Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre this week, will be the company’s 12th visit to the UK.
