Broadstairs-born musician Tim Edey will bring his hometown’s folk week to a close on Friday, August 16.
Tim, a virtuoso on acoustic guitar and accordion, was named Musician of the Year in last year’s Radio 2 Folk Awards and also won Best Duo of the Year with harmonica player Brendan Power.
Tim, who now lives in Faversham, will be using the Folk Week performance to launch a new solo album of guitar music.
See him in the concert marquee at 7.30pm. Tickets for the gig are £15. He will be supported by duo Philip Henry and Hannah Martin.
Broadstairs Folk Week has been running for almost 50 years, with gigs, workshops and other entertainment in theatres and other venues.
