Homeowners inspired by the likes of Grand Designs and Amazing Spaces can make their ideas a reality with a show which gives expert advice and tips on creating their dream home.

Build It Live, which is at the Kent Showground in Detling, Maidstone on Saturday, February 5 and Sunday, February 6, will help visitors explore how to make a project reality, with thousands of suppliers and self-build and renovation experts all under one roof, giving advice and helpful ideas.

Visitors can book free one to one advice session with an expert who can help answer questions relating to your project whether it’s a renovation, extension or building your own home.

There will also be information on the new Help to Build scheme, which provides loans capped at £600,000, to cover the purchase of land and build costs.

Also at the Showground will be the latest innovations as well as see demonstrations, seminars and workshops including eco-friendly construction techniques and how to secure a plot for your build.

Experts from Build It Magazine will be on hand with free advice on any part of your own project from self build or renovation to home extension.

The show is open from 10am to 5pm on the Saturday and 10am to 4.30pm on the Sunday.
