Record-breaking singer Bryan Adams is one of Canada’s biggest exports, alongside maple syrup and poutine.
Now, the Grammy Award winner is flying across the pond to perform a set of his greatest hits, from Summer of 69 to Run to You, at Dreamland in Margate.
The concert is part of the Margate Summer Series, which sees a string of outdoor concerts come to the Kent coast until September, featuring artists such as Paloma Faith, Becky Hill, Nile Rodgers and Busted.
The chart-topping singer, who first rose to fame with the release of his 1984 album Reckless, will perform on the open-air Scenic Stage.
His back-catalogue of multi-million-selling singles includes Heaven, Please Forgive Me, Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman and (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, which spent 16 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart after appearing on the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves soundtrack.
Over his five-decade career, the guitarist has received three Academy Award nominations, three Ivor Novello Awards and an impressive 20 Juno Awards.
For his Margate gig, the renowned artist will be joined by electro-pop singer-songwriter Cassyette.
Bryan Adams will be at Dreamland in Margate on Thursday, June 13 and tickets are still available here.
That weekend, the venue will also see headline sets from British ska band Madness (June 14) and American nu-metal band Limp Bizkit (June 15) - both of which have already sold out.
